We offer Substance Use Disorder  Recovery Services

Bear River Health offers a network of services for all stages of your recovery journey--from withdrawal management, to separate residential centers for men and women, to multiple outpatient offices offering medically assisted treatment. Our staff consists of caring professionals working together to guide you during your recovery journey in a safe and confidential environment located in northern Lower Michigan.

Human Resources Assistant

We are in search of a Human Resources Assistant who will be responsible for recruiting, screening resumes, interviewing, on-boarding and training workers. The Human Resources Assistant will work closely with the management team and may also handle employee relations, payroll, benefits, and training.
 

Security Officer

The Security Officer provides security services for the treatment center campus, staff and residents. The selected candidate will be responsible for observing and reporting activities and incidents at an assigned client site, and providing for the safety of client property and personnel. 
 

Clinical Counselor

The Clinical Counselor with work with clients by facilitating workshops, maintaining a small case load, provide individual counseling and family counseling sessions as needed, and attend all staff meetings.

Minimum Qualifications: Experience in substance abuse and dual diagnosis residential treatment facility preferred. Must have a CADC or be on a development plan, working under supervision. Completion of the development plan is a condition of maintaining employment in this position. Masters level license or Bachelor's of Social Work preferred.

Cook/Kitchen Staff

Dining Services is responsible for the preparation and serving of all meals, as well as managing the food service production and delivery system, including purchase and inventory of food and supplies. Dining Services staff ensure conformance with food quality, nutrition, and productivity standards. 

Clinical Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Provides primary patient care in an SUD residential treatment facility. Master's Degree and licensure through the State of Michigan required, along with appropriate clinical experience. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant  reports to Medical Program Director and Supervising Physician and provides direction to RN’s, LPNs, Medical Assistants, and/or other categories as appropriate. These individuals works collaboratively with physicians and all members of the patient care team.

Registered Nurse

Are you looking to save lives and foster growth each and every day? Bear River Health is looking for dependable nurses to work with our diverse population at our treatment facilities. The day RN would be responsible for completing intakes and discharges, handling all medication inventory, passing medications to residents, relaying client concerns or information to the nurse manager and doctor, medically monitoring the detox unit, and more. Currently we are seeking full-time RN's for the day shift. New graduates are welcome to apply.
